Clemens Purner has joined Cadence Films for commercial representation.
Described as a “terrific addition” to the Cadence roster, Purner combines agency and production nous. Having studied at Miami Ad School’s Hamburg branch, he keeps brands and agencies onside with his perceptive approach.
Sounds like a well-travelled man. Purner currently flits between Berlin and Paris. He’s also been known to travel further afield… Bhutan, for instance. This short film charts Purner’s adventures in the Himalayan kingdom - a holiday video worth watching.
How’s his commercial reel shaping up? Purner’s already worked on numerous high-profile campaigns. His advertising background ensures he quickly gels with clients - something Cadence is keen to nurture.
He recently caught the eye with this VW commercial. Rare is the ad that casts nihilism in a positive light, but Purner’s ode to nothingness earned him recognition at Cannes and elsewhere.
